Computers are used at each stage of the school. The school has received 32 laptop computers. The majority of these are shared throughout the school to allow each class the opportunity to be taught new skills. The software for language is ‘Textease’ and there are various programmes installed to develop mathematics, environmental studies, science and art skills.
Each classroom has at least three laptops for use during class lessons. All classes follow Inverclyde’s computing guidelines. The school has been networked allowing pupils to develop competence in this area. Interactive white boards are in use in all classrooms.
