Our Vision and Values Statement

Our core values are Respect, Honesty, Tolerance, Care and Resilience.
The following is intended to provide the basis on which the school organises itself for the benefit of pupils. We aspire to becoming a learning organisation, capable of continuous improvement – known for the excellent quality of learning and teaching, care and welfare and support that we provide to maximise student achievement.

To support our vision and values we aim to:-

• Provide a broadly based, balanced and integrated curriculum for continuity and progression.

• Ensure opportunities for all to attain their potential.

• Seek to provide high quality teaching that meets the needs of all pupils and promotes effective learning.

• Provide emotional, physical, social and educational support for all pupils and an environment within which children feel secure and happy.

• Develop partnerships between staff, pupils, parents and other agencies which promote a positive ethos within the school and a positive image within the community.

• Strive to make effective use of the resources at our disposal – staffing, accommodation and financial.

• Be committed to ensuring that appropriate management systems and procedures are in place and operate effectively.
